Lotus Kay

Lotus Kay is a singer/songwriter and award-winning children's book author who has been published in a variety of media outlets. She is the author of the children's books More Beautiful Than Heaven,  Billie the Octopus, A Thanksgiving for the Turkeys, Jenny the Chimpanzee,  and Friends Lift You Up about themes such as caring for the Earth and wildlife and creating a more compassionate world. The books are part of Lotus’s project Bears for Cares, a campaign in partnership with Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots youth service program.  Lotus has been featured in variety of media outlets  and her activism has been recognized by organizations such as PETA, the Jane Goodall Institute, and Mission Blue, among others. Her book Jenny the Chimpanzee received the Mom's Gold Choice Gold Award and an endorsement from Dr. Jane Goodall.  

Lotus is also a fashion designer,  actress and model who has appeared in a variety of productions as well as walked the runway twice during New York Fashion Week.  She has filmed several music videos for her songs over the past few years and her music has been showcased during New York and LA Fashion Week as well as Art Basel in Miami.  Her fashion line, Astro Couture, debuted during New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026, featuring 12 celestial-inspired couture looks that embody the energy and symbolism of the zodiac.
